Infinity Nikki's Version 2.6, titled Until Tide Ends, arrived on May 28, 2026, after a maintenance window that stretched from 12:50 to 20:00 UTC-7. For anyone who has been hoarding Resonite Crystals like a squirrel with a winter stash, this is the patch where that patience either pays off or quietly evaporates. The update closes the Soul Tide storyline, opens a brand-new dungeon, drops a 5-star Resonance banner, and bundles in more quality-of-life changes than any single patch in recent memory. It is, in a word, dense.
The headline attraction for returning stylists is The Unceasing Ocarina, a permanent exclusive quest that unlocks once Chapter 9 of the Itzaland main storyline is complete. It ties directly into the Soul Tide's conclusion and the Tide Sending Ceremony. Finishing it hands over the bracelet Connected Remembrance, the chest accessory sketch Flower of the Past, Diamonds, and growth materials. Clearing every stage inside the quest also snags the earring sketch Crimson First Wish.
⚠️ Timed warning: Complete the entire exclusive quest before 2.6 ends to earn the limited card Memory Boat plus extra Diamonds. That card is not coming back. Treat it as a deadline, not a to-do.
On the world quest side, the Resurgent Tides series adds permanent quests under "Soul Tide Chronicles" along with rotating random quests in "Interesting Encounters." Working through them yields the headwear Time-Woven Threads, plus the usual Diamonds and growth materials.
The Realm of the Past and the Crimson Bloom Event

Version 2.6 introduces Realm of the Past, a dungeon set in the Boneyard where a garden of crimson blossoms begins surfacing sealed memories. The setting works a little like a library where the books refuse to stay shut — every petal seems to be holding a page of someone's past.
The dungeon feeds the limited-time Crimson Bloom of the Heart event, live until June 23 at 12:49 UTC-7. That event splits into five activities:
| Activity | Typical Rewards |
|---|---|
| Crimson Recollection | Resonite Crystals, Diamonds |
| Compass' Guide | Upgrade Packs, Diamonds |
| Starlit Courtyard | Resonite Crystals, materials |
| Flowerbed Treasury | Upgrade Packs, Diamonds |
| Crimson Memories | Resonite Crystals, materials |
Progressing The Unceasing Ocarina is required before the event unlocks, so skipping the story is not an option for completionists.
The Boneyard also expands with two new caverns — Healing Ground North Cavern and Shore Cavern — both stocked with Whimstars and Dews of Inspiration.
💡 Furniture from Realm of the Past is catalogued in Itzaland Volume 3 of the Decor Catalog. After a first clear, re-enter the dungeon and take a photo to unlock those furniture sketches.
Lingering Aftersong and the Soundless Dawn Outfit
The main Resonance banner, Lingering Aftersong, runs until June 23 at 12:49 UTC-7, featuring the 5-star outfit Soundless Dawn and the 4-star Steps Against Order.
Completing Soundless Dawn unlocks Tranquil Resonance. Nikki summons up to four Tranquil Strings in the open world — musical anchors that draw nearby animals close and drop their guard so they can be approached and groomed. They persist even while offline, appear on the map as trackable icons, and can be recalled on demand. The ability does not function in Home or indoor stages.
Evolution rewards break down as follows:
-
Stage 2 — Joyful Dance Invitation for Framed Moment, plus the Decoration: Radiance feature, allowing Radiant Chorus Court: Radiance to be placed in open spaces for photography.
-
Stage 3 — Tomorrow's Blossom: Makeup, enhanced special effects, a new idle animation, and alternative details on select pieces.
The 4-star Steps Against Order unlocks Windborne Signal: Whimsicality, letting Nikki whistle to summon a raven that perches on her finger.
🔥 At 160 pulls, the Radiant Chorus Court decoration becomes placeable in open areas. For dedicated photo mode players, that milestone alone is worth tracking.

Rerun Banners Worth a Second Look
Two reruns accompany the main event, both closing June 10 at 18:59 UTC-7:
| Banner | Outfit | Effect |
|---|---|---|
| Harvest Dream | Harvest's Blessing (4★) | Fall Foliage: World Rhythms — reddens Woolfruit Tree leaves, triggers falling leaf effects |
| Ribbon Reverie | Pink Ribbon Waltz (4★) | Faint fish scale textures appear on Nikki's skin when she contacts water |
Both windows are noticeably shorter than the headline banner, so players who missed the originals should move early.
Parallel Events and Store Offers
The Souls Unveiled event is worth calling out: finding the Spirit Creature for the first time unlocks 16 special titles, but only for a limited window. That is the kind of cosmetic that vanishes permanently. Meanwhile, Candlelight Reverie asks players to complete four tasks at a time for Swaying Light currency, exchangeable for rewards including the Gift of Renewal 3-star outfit.
⚠️ Both Homecoming Treats and Souls Unveiled require prior progress on the world quest A Market Set for Farewell. They do not auto-unlock at version start.
Over in the Store's Tidal Treasures section, limited offers run until June 23:
-
Echoes of Time Pack — handheld Moonlit Rain, earrings Soul Prelude, pose Memorial in Breeze
-
Endless Yearning — full Engraved Longing: Makeup set, 180 Stellarites + 180 Diamonds
-
Fragrance of Rice — Momo's Cloak: Rice Fragrance and Momo's Pose: Momo Dance, 300 Diamonds
-
Row and Sway — decoration Sweet Fragrance Boat, 160 Diamonds
The Starlight Vault returns as a purchasable Stellar Jar, granting the headwear Remaining Silence immediately, then Star Candies via Daily Wishes toward the gloves Tidal Undercurrent and 360 Stellarites. Two new outfits, Clearsky Symphony and Sunlit Plush Bear, arrive in Store > Clothing, with reruns of Graceful Elegance, Midnight Vogue, and Star of the Gala until June 23.
Free currency hunters should watch their mailboxes: Colorful Swirl (handheld) is claimable May 31–June 7, and Soft Verdant Knot (handheld) runs June 18–25. Logging in for seven total days during the Where Souls Resound check-in grants 10 Revelation Crystals.
Quality-of-Life Overhaul
The Celestial Deer ability from Chroma's Mortal Heart now permits jumping outside the Wanxiang Realm, and its chest marker duration extends from one minute to three. A long list of previous 5-star pieces — Bouncing Fluff, Tiny Dots, Dreamy Afternoon, Old Illusions, Sunlit Stars, Intent Codex, and more — are now dyeable after full glow-up. Players who evolved Born Flawless to Stage 2 can claim missing rewards from the Clothing Evolution interface.
Photo Mode gains an outfit change shortcut through a new Wardrobe entry in Momo's Camera. Home Construction receives the biggest rework: custom schemes with four slots, favorites pinning up to 20 items, a Delete All option, batch processing that merges Collections and Claim All, a hide-Nikki toggle for Floral Construction, and adjustable snap strength that now supports furniture.
The Boneyard's Momo Fishing mechanic also gains a pity system — after nine consecutive failed rare rolls, the tenth catch is guaranteed rare, and after three rares without an outfit sketch, the next rare includes one. It behaves like a dealer who finally slides the right card across the table after nine bad hands.
Finally, the new Mira Journey phase, Journey Overture, runs to June 23 with 90 levels of rewards, while the Mira Crown Pinnacle Contest splits into Phase 1 (June 1–16) and Phase 2 (June 16–July 1), both granting a 15% bonus to glowed-up pieces. Time those submissions carefully — the tide, after all, only ends once.
